TAS (Turning Automotive Seating)

The 'Turny' is ideal if you have difficulty entering and exiting today's minivans, pickup trucks and full-size vans. The Turny replaces the existing seat base with a unique swivel, power up/down base and is available for the front passenger position and the middle row side doors. Turny's hand control is easy to use when raising and lowering the seat. The control can be hung up or put beside the seat when not in use. The Bruno replacement seat provides lumbar support as well as lateral support in both the seat cushion and backrest. Turny is available in two vertical travel heights designed for different models of vehicles and the user's needs.

When the Carony is added, the attendant slides the individual in the Bruno seat from the vehicle onto the transport wheelchair along a rail. The attendant can now easily push the user.

Turnout - The swivel base for everyone who has difficulty getting in and out of a car. It is installed on a custom base plate assembly that is vehicle specific. It can be mounted both in the driver or front passenger position. A lever is used to release the latch on the swivel base and the seat is then rotated fully out to the outboard position.

The 6-way power transfer seat makes transfer from wheelchair to driver's or passenger's seat convenient, easy and saves you valuable time. At the touch of a fingertip, the fully automatic power transfer seat swivels 90 degrees to allow carefree transfers. Individual controls for front-to-rear travel and height adjustment give you complete control and comfort.

BRAUN Companion Seat (for domestic mini-vans)

The Companion Seat system utilizes your van's original seat, but replaces the existing base with a unique power base that extends the seat out the door a full twenty inches. Near the end of the cycle, the seat tilts forward six inches to make boarding safe and easy. One switch controls both the 'in' and 'out' functions, conveniently located for the seat occupant. When not needed as a mobility aid, the Companion Seat performs like a normal passenger seat.
