General Motors Mobility Program
GM Mobility offers up to $1,000 reimbursement1 for eligible adaptive mobility equipment, the protection and convenience of extended OnStar®2 service, and other resources to improve vehicle accessibility and mobility for people with special needs or disabilities (people who may use a wheelchair, scooter or other mobility assistance product). Financial Assistance Plus OnStarGet up to $1,000 in reimbursement1 for the cost and installation of eligible adaptive equipment and mobility products. Plus get two additional years2 of standard OnStar service at no additional cost on all eligible, new OnStar-equipped vehicles. That's a retail value of $400 or more, depending on the level of standard service on the vehicle.
You will be responsible for contacting an independent mobility equipment installer to have any aftermarket device installed in your vehicle. When selecting a mobility equipment installer, shop around and inquire about their qualifications, capabilities, experience, warranty and service practices. Ask for references and if they are members of the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) and if they are QAP-certified, a nationally recognized accreditation program for mobility equipment installers.
