We're just now starting to see sneak peak photos from VMI on the all new 2011 Honda Odyssey conversions. We should start to see a few of these roll off the transport truck here in early June. Quantities of the new body style vans will be limited so if you want one...Let us know!
We are taking deposits on these vans now.

The bad news
On January 1, 2011 Medicare will stop ‘purchasing’ power chairs and scooters, and will switch to a rental program for its clients. Instead of Medicare just buying you a new power chair or scooter they are now going to rent one for you from a provider such as Mobility Plus. We’re not 100% sure how this new plan is going to work so we’ll keep you updated.
The good news
Mobility Plus will still accept Medicare clients who need new power mobility equipment.
It’s likely some providers will stop accepting clients who need this equipment because it will take to long for the provider to get paid. Mobility Plus will not abandon you, and we’ll still accept Medicare clients who need a new scooter or power chair.

Looks like Pepper's got his hands full this month! I'm pretty sure this is a full ADA convertion on this 2010 Ford full size van. I know it's getting a full raised roof and raised rear doors with a wheelchair lift installed at the rear doors.
I don't know about you, but I like watching stuff like this go together...I'll keep ya'll posted on the build.

We're trying to clear out our remaining inventory of manual wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters before the end of the year.
Some of this stuff is half off! If you need a new chair, or possibly a back up chair come by and see us.

I just got off the phone with a customer who thought he would save a little money purchasing his scooter lift off the internet. When he received the lift it was a compilation of parts from two different manufactures! He called the lift manufacture to get the right parts sent to him at no charge, but he was surprised to learn he didn’t buy his lift from an authorized dealer and all they could do was give him our number so he could order the right parts.
I can't say it enough...Most of time cheaper isn't always better!
- If you’re buying mobility equipment please be sure you're buying it from an authorized dealer
- Make sure that dealer is a member of N.M.E.D.A.
- Make sure they can do the install for you and will back up their work
- Or save yourself all that time and trouble and just call us!

The completely restyled 2011 Honda Odyssey should be hitting show rooms as you're reading this, and you know VMI is on the case! We should be seeing these newly converted vans pretty soon. Here's a couple of photos for a sneak peak at the new van. Enjoy!
